According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No 3775 of 05.07.2018 and the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education ¹625 from 17.07.2018 from July 20, 2018 Information Service of Gulistan State University and the position of the head of information service - press secretary has been introduced.

Information service is an independent structural unit of the Gulistan State University and is directly subordinated to the university rector.

The service is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Openness of Activity of State Bodies and Governance Bodies", "On Mass Media" (new edition) laws and other relevant laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan The Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 125 of February 15, 201 "On Measures for Further Improvement of Information Services of the State and Economic Management Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and other decrees and resolutions of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the orders of the Council of Ministers, the orders of the rector and this Charter I am acting.

The service carries out its activities in close cooperation with structural divisions, faculties and other relevant departments of the government of Guba.
