The administration of Gulistan State University and the United Trade Union have received information about the condition of a group of 19 elderly people working at the university.

Hazrat Abdullaev, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, a full member of the Geographical Society of the former Soviet Union, is 90 years old. Dedicating all his conscious activity to education, the scientist worked effectively as a vice-rector at the university (institute), head of four departments, associate professor. Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Arif Ayupov is 80 years old. Orientalist, historian and political scientist Arif Ayupov has worked at the university for 51 years. He worked as a vice-rector, dean, head of the department, associate professor. He is fluent in English, Russian, Afghan and Pashto. He has published more than a hundred monographs, textbooks and scientific articles. “The world. Politics. Society ”was reprinted and reprinted 11 times. The scientist has been on business trips to England, Denmark, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, the Vatican, Turkey. He worked as a translator at the Afghan embassy.
