An intellectual game "Zakovat" was held at Gulistan State University as part of the "Week of Creative Youth" organized by the "Creative Youth" club. The event was held by the general coordinator of the club Temur Abdullaev, coordinators Usmonkhodjaev Jamshidkhodja, Samandar Saribayev. On the basis of the order of the Ministry of higher and secondary special education of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 23, 2017 numbered 600, “Information and coaching hour” training was organized at the University. ” Information and coaching hour " sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays of the week in 2-or 3-pairs. The training "information and coaching hour" will be delivered to the students on the basis of the topics set by the ministry.

On February 13, 2021, a spiritual event was organized at Gulistan State University on the initiative of the Socio-economic Faculty on the occasion of the 538th anniversary of the birth of Z. M. Babur. The event was led by the Dean of the Faculty Z. Zikiryaev. At the event, Professor of the State University R. Makhmudov, Vice-rector of the University for Youth Affairs N. Niyazov, Head of the Department of National Idea Sh.Kenzhaev, senior lecturer B. Gafurov. In the second part of the event, active students of the faculty performed ghazals and scenes from Babur's work. At the end of the event, the winners of the creative work about the life and work of Babur were awarded.
