Pazilov Abdushoxit Abduvoitovich studied at the Faculty of Philology of Gulistan State University from 2003 to 2007, majoring in English Language and Literature, and obtained a bachelor's degree.
From 2007 to 2009, he studied at the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan in the Linguistics (English) program and earned a master's degree in 2009.
He began his professional career at Gulistan State University, working as a lecturer at the Department of English Language and Literature from 2009 to 2012, as a lecturer at the Department of Interfaculty Foreign Languages from 2012 to 2015, and as the head of the same department from 2015 to 2021. Since 2021, he has been serving as the head of the Department of English Language and Literature.
During his academic career, he has published several monographs, textbooks, and teaching manuals, as well as more than 30 scientific articles in national and international journals.
For international experience, he completed scientific internships in India under the ITEC program at the EDI Institute, in 2017 at BIIM, and in 2023 at the PKQTMOMM under Samarkand State University.
In 2022, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on “Developing Linguistic Competence in Students Using Virtual Technologies.”
From 2021 to 2026, he served as the head of the Department of English Language and Literature.
Since 2026, he has been the head of the International Relations Department.
Since April 1, 2026, he has been serving as the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
