On July 15, Sarvarkhon Munavarkhonovich Buzrukhonov, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, visited Gulistan State University.

During the visit, detailed explanations were provided regarding the implementation of the Presidential Decree No. PQ-61 “On Additional Measures to Facilitate the Employment of Higher Education Graduates” (dated 14.02.2025). Reports by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation O. Murodov and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs F. Sharipov on their ongoing work were heard.

Mr. Buzrukhonov familiarized himself with the activities of the “Step into the Future” Center, studied existing problems related to graduate employment, and gave practical proposals and instructions for their resolution.

The Deputy Minister held an open dialogue with graduates, listened to their opinions and proposals on employment, professional development, and implementing their own business ideas. He also reviewed the innovative developments presented by graduates and gave recommendations regarding funding these projects.

During the open dialogue, proposals from representatives of the Syrdarya Regional Employment Department and Uzmilliybank regarding the decree were also heard.

The meeting discussed:
✔ Effective implementation of the “Step into the Future” program;
✔ Directing graduates to jobs corresponding to their fields;
✔ Studying the needs of potential employers and developing individual training programs accordingly;
✔ Assisting young people in forming their own business projects.

The “Step into the Future” Center is an important platform that helps graduates take confident steps into independent life, succeed in their professional careers, and create new jobs.

At the end of the visit, the Deputy Minister assigned specific tasks to the university administration to ensure graduate employment.
