Athletes from the Syrdarya region Kuchkarov Otabek and Buriboeva Feruza won silver in doubles (mixed) with a time of 8.45.39 at the International Rowing Regatta in Varese, Italy.

Athletes from more than 30 countries also competed for a ticket to the Tokyo Olympics. The results of the competition will be announced later this month.

According to the coaches of the regional rowing team F. Khamrakulov and B. Atamurodov, our athletes Kuchkarov Otabek and Buriboev Feruza can win a ticket to the Tokyo Olympics.

Kuchkarov Otabek is a 3rd year student with a degree in Primary Education and Sports Education of the Pedagogical Faculty of Gulistan State University.

The final results of the competition will be presented by the International Olympic Committee to the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan by June 26 this year.
