On July 27, 2023, a delegation led by Yordan Gorchev, Rector of the International Slavic University of Macedonia, visited Gulistan State University.

The guests were welcomed by the delegation headed by the rector of the university M. Khodzhiev. During the negotiations, M. Khodzhiyev gave detailed information to the guests about the history of the university, its current development and prospects. In his turn, the guest from Macedonia, Yordan Gorchev, gave a detailed introduction to the current educational directions at the International Slavic University, as well as the direction and strategy of this university in general.
At the end of the visit, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which envisages the establishment of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of future plans. It was noted that this cooperative relationship is mutually beneficial for both parties.
