On March 19, Gulistan State University hosted a Job Fair within the framework of “Career Day” as part of “Thursday – Youth Day.” The event aimed to ensure employment for graduating students, provide them with достойные job opportunities, and familiarize them with real labor market prospects.

The event was opened with an introductory speech by the university rector M. Khodjiev. In his address, he emphasized that ensuring employment for graduates, guiding them toward modern professions and practical skills, and strengthening effective cooperation between higher education institutions, employers, and students are among the most актуальные priorities today.

Hundreds of graduating students from various faculties actively participated in the event. In particular, 159 students from the Faculty of Industrial Studies, 206 from the Faculty of Digital Economy, and 310 from Natural Sciences attended, gaining valuable insights into their future careers.

During the fair, representatives of different organizations and companies provided detailed information about available vacancies, working conditions, and required skills. Graduates received clear and professional answers to their questions and were able to assess their opportunities through direct interaction.

Additionally, three-party agreements (student – university – employer) were initiated to facilitate future employment. This serves as an effective and practical mechanism for ensuring youth employment.

This “Career Day” and Job Fair served not only as a platform to explore job opportunities but also to define career paths, establish direct connections with employers, and plan future professional activities.
