“Career Day”: A Platform of Real Opportunities for Graduates
On April 2, 2026, Gulistan State University hosted another “Career Day” job fair at a high level as part of the traditional “Thursday — Youth Day” initiative.
The event was aimed at ensuring youth employment, facilitating their effective integration into the labor market, and connecting them with real job opportunities.
The Rector of the university, M. Khodjiev, personally participated in the event and held face-to-face individual meetings with graduating students. During these discussions, students’ future plans, chosen career paths, and employment opportunities were thoroughly reviewed.
Importantly, the meetings went beyond general advice — practical solutions were developed for each graduate.
During the event, the implementation of tripartite agreements was carefully analyzed, including employment outcomes, existing challenges in certain fields, and shortcomings in cooperation with employers.
Comprehensive information about available regional vacancies was presented, and graduates received practical guidance on finding jobs in their field and improving their competitiveness in the labor market.
Special attention was also given to expanding cooperation with public and private organizations, strengthening targeted employment efforts, and enhancing individual approaches to each student.
“Career Day” is not just an event, but a practical platform that leads graduates toward real employment.
