Admission2025: A competition is announced for admission under additional state grants for compatriots living abroad!

💠According to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. F–43 of July 18, 2025, “On approval of the state order parameters for admission to state higher education institutions,” 30 state grants have been allocated for young compatriots living abroad who wish to study in the fields of Uzbek language and literature, history, culture, arts, and crafts.

💠Applications for state grants for compatriots will be accepted by relevant higher education institutions until October 10, 2025.

Eligibility requirements for candidates wishing to participate in the “For Compatriots” state grant competition:

⚫️The candidate themself, their parents, or close relatives must:
— be a foreign citizen or stateless person who identifies as Uzbek or Karakalpak from an ethnic, linguistic, and cultural-historical perspective;
— be a foreign citizen or stateless person who was born and previously resided in Uzbekistan but currently resides abroad permanently;
⚫️be registered as an applicant for one of the bachelor’s degree programs on the list approved by the State Commission for Admission of Foreign Citizens to Educational Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and be recommended for admission based on the interview results;
⚫️be under 30 years of age;
⚫️have proficiency in the Uzbek language.

Special competitions will be held in the entrance subjects corresponding to the chosen bachelor’s degree program. In this case:

⚫️for bachelor’s programs that include professional (creative) exams, the chosen higher education institution will conduct the exam;
⚫️for candidates recommended by higher education institutions, test assessments will be conducted by the Agency for Knowledge and Skills Assessment;
⚫️for bachelor’s programs with test-based entrance examinations, test assessments will be conducted by the Agency for Knowledge and Skills Assessment.

Based on the results of the special competitions, candidates with the highest scores for each program will be awarded state grants.
