The laboratory of "Experimental Biology" founded on the initiative of Professor of Gulistan State University, Doctor of Biological Sciences Kh. Kushiev celebrated its 20th anniversary this year. During this period, from research carried out in an ordinary small room during his activity, a laboratory and a Scientific School were formed, which today is recognized as both Republican and International. The laboratory researchers, attracting the attention of international organizations, foundations, partner organizations (republican and foreign), launched 5 scientific research directions. On the basis of research carried out in the laboratory under the guidance of Professor H. Kushiev, more than 10 students of available academic degrees (candidates of sciences, PhD, DSc) work in various places and positions. The Laboratory of Experimental Biology proposes to link 2 priority areas of the quality of education and training of highly qualified personnel at the university into the system as follows:

1) "Knowledge through science", on the basis of the university (department, faculty) to be a scientific laboratory-center and a professor-teacher working at the university, to be primarily a researcher

2) “Knowledge through practice and production”. The importance of the educational process at the university should be associated with production (branch of departments on the basis of production) in the preparation of highly qualified personnel.
