In order to implement 5 initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the teaching staff of the departments "distance education” and” interfacult physical culture and Sport" together with the faculties "distance education" and " physical culture” Gulistan State University organized competitions in "sports, music, reading and art". The competition is scheduled for April 20-23 this year.
On April 20, the boys ' soccer competition was held. 16 football teams took part in the tournament. In the last tournament, students of the "History" direction won the "Rector's Cup", defeating students of the "Physical Culture"direction in the final.
On April 22, competitions "Volleyball" and "Table Tennis" will be held among girls, on April 23, students of the educational directions "Fine Arts" and "Music" will demonstrate their abilities, and students of the direction "Uzbek Philology" will promote reading.
