On June 11, 2022, a regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of Gulistan State University was held. The following issues were considered:

Members of the Supervisory Board of Gulistan State University discussed the effectiveness of the activities carried out in January-June this year and the prospects for future work.

As a result of granting Gulistan State University academic, organizational management and financial independence, a number of achievements and results have been achieved under the leadership of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Including:

- 13 target indicators (KPIs) of the members of the Supervisory Board, consisting of 131 items, were approved and a quarterly monitoring system was established for these indicators.

 - The Ministry of Innovative Development has announced a special 69th round of the competition of scientific projects in the framework of state programs of scientific activity for the development of Syrdarya region and Gulistan State University.

- A total of 12 (11 practical, 1 innovative) thematic topics worth 12.5 billion soums in 6 disciplines were announced in the competition.

- Short-term internships were organized for 15 professors and teachers of the university in industrial enterprises and organizations.

- Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Z.Zikriyayev will have an internship at Kazan Federal University (Russian Federation) from May 24 to June 6 this year.

- 600 books with QR-codes were presented to the university.

- The Ministry of Innovative Development has established free access for students, researchers and teachers to international journals included in the Springer Nature system.

- Technoways Youth Business Incubator was established on the basis of the university.

- 15 innovative developments have been prepared and economic contracts have been signed for their implementation.

At the same time, the shortcomings were highlighted and specific proposals and tasks were given as a solution.

The report on the results of internal audit and financial control measures conducted at Gulistan State University was analyzed. It was noted that in the future it is necessary to increase the level of financial incentives for teachers and students.

The order and amount of payment contracts for students to be admitted in the new academic year, as well as the salary of foreign professors have been approved.

In the future, each department will be tasked with attracting foreign professors and teachers.

It was approved to establish additional scholarships for university students at the expense of the university and sponsors named after Halima Khudoiberdiyeva, Tora Sulaymon, Same Samadov.

In the future, a total of 6 students will be able to receive additional scholarships each academic year, thereby increasing the motivation of young people to study.

Under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 4 this year, the implementation of the tasks given at the selector on "Employment of students in their spare time" at the university was analyzed.
