On May 7, 2024, Gulistan State University held a commemorative event dedicated to the May 9 Remembrance and Appreciation Day under the slogan "Eternal memory is sacred".

 Representatives of retired professors and teachers, workers, as well as the families of dear teachers who have passed away, were invited to the event.

 The event was opened by the rector of the university, M. Khodjiyev, with the opening speech, the professors-teachers who spoke made the memory of the teachers who made a great contribution to the education of young people in our university for many years, immortalized their life paths. they expressed their opinions regarding the indoctrination of young people.

 At the event, the table was set and festive food was distributed.
