On February 1, 2024, the Law No. ORQ-901 "On the status of a teacher" was adopted. On June 5, Gulistan State University held a promotional event aimed at explaining the content of this law.

At the event, according to this legal document adopted for the first time in New Uzbekistan, the status of pedagogues, their encouragement, and the legal aspects of their professional activities were explained by D. Turdibayev, vice-rector for educational affairs of the university, and legal consul B. Hamzayev.
