On September 6, 2024, the first meeting of the Council of Gulsiton State University in the new 2024/2025 academic year was held under the theme "If we are united, we are one nation, if we are united, we are our Motherland!" was held in an extended manner under the motto. This event was opened and conducted by the Rector of the University, Chairman of the Council M. Khodzhiyev. In his introductory speech, the Chairman of the Council sincerely congratulated the team on the 33rd anniversary of our greatest and dearest holiday - Independence.

After that, issues of preparation for the new academic year were discussed. The work done in the last academic year was summarized, and the tasks for the further improvement of the educational, methodological, scientific-research, spiritual-educational and material-technical base in the 2024/2025 academic year were determined.

Vice-rectors, heads of departments and experienced professors also spoke and expressed their opinions on the issues on the agenda.
