On October 21, 2024, a spiritual, educational and artistic event dedicated to the "October 21-Uzbek language holiday" took place in the Palace of Culture of Gulistan State University.

The event was opened by the rector of the university, Professor M. Khodzhiyev, with an introductory speech. Also, at the event, associate professor of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics, candidate of philological sciences J. Abdullayev spoke on the topic "Development of the Uzbek language and its acquisition of state status."

A group of students who achieved success at the holiday event were awarded with holiday gifts.

In the artistic part of the event, the creative students of the university performed songs and poems, performed stage performances and national dances.
