On July 28, 2025, the rector of Gulistan State University, M. Khodjiyev, together with the university team, visited the Women's Boarding Home “Muruvvat” for persons with disabilities in Yangiyer.

During the visit, the living conditions at the Muruvvat home were reviewed, and a meeting was held with caregivers and residents.

At the meeting, University Rector M. Khodjiyev, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work K. Kudratov, Director of the “Psychology Center” S. Sharapova, and Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Social Sciences A. Taniberdiev emphasized the state’s attention and care for socially vulnerable groups. They noted that improvements in Muruvvat homes are being made to help residents adapt to social life.

In addition, Rector M. Khodjiyev donated a collection of new books and chess and checkers sets to the boarding home.

At the end of the event, the administration of the institution expressed gratitude to the university team for their care and attention.
