On September 3, 2025, a festive event dedicated to the opening of the new 2025/2026 academic year was held at Gulistan State University under the motto “For the Homeland, for the Nation, for the People!”.

The event was opened by the Rector of the University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor M.T. Khodjiyev, who delivered a congratulatory speech. In his address, the Rector congratulated the faculty, students, and parents on the 34th anniversary of the Independence of our beloved Uzbekistan, as well as on the beginning of the new academic year, and briefly outlined the main goals and objectives of the university community for 2025/2026.

During the event, congratulatory speeches were also delivered by the Chairman of the Sirdarya Regional Federation of Trade Unions R. Turdimurodov, Labor Veteran Q. Abdullayev, the University’s vice-rectors, and representatives of the public.
