On September 26, a ceremony was held at the “Youth Center” in Gulistan city to present the badge of honor “Excellence in Higher Education,” dedicated to October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day. The event was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Qongirotboy Sharipov participated in the event, sincerely congratulating the devoted educators working at higher education institutions in the Syrdarya region and emphasizing that their contributions are invaluable for the future of our country.

At the festive event, professors and teachers devoted to their profession, experienced pedagogues, scientists contributing to the development of science, as well as a group of dedicated faculty members, were honored.

The following professors and teachers of Gulistan State University were awarded the “Excellence in Higher Education” badge of honor:

Habibjon Kushiyev – Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Director of the Research Institute of Agrobiotechnology and Biochemistry at Gulistan State University
Karim Nuriyev – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor
Odil Atlmishev – Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor
O‘giloy Abdurakhmonova – Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor
