Cooperation between Gulistan State University and European Higher Education Institutions Is Entering a New Stage

At present, establishing and developing cooperation with European higher education institutions is one of the priority areas of Gulistan State University’s international activities. The university places particular emphasis on integration into the international educational space, studying advanced European experience, and improving the quality of education.

To this end, on January 28, 2026, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Gulistan State University and one of the prestigious higher education institutions of the Czech Republic — Prague Institute of Management and Technology (PIMT). This document has created a solid legal framework for the development of bilateral academic, scientific, and educational cooperation.

Notably, cooperation moved into a practical phase on the very day the memorandum was signed. The Rector of Prague Institute of Management and Technology, Dr. Marko Mannsberger, via a video message, invited the Rector of Gulistan State University, M. Khodjiyev, for an official visit to the institute. This demonstrates the high level of interest and mutual trust between the parties.

As the first practical step within the framework of cooperation, Feriza Gaibnazarova, Associate Professor of the Department of Biology at Gulistan State University, has begun her activities with PIMT under a professional development program titled “Modern Teaching Methods in Universities: European Experience.” This program is aimed at enhancing pedagogical skills, as well as studying modern educational methods and innovative approaches.

In the future, the parties plan to expand cooperation in areas such as student and faculty exchange programs, joint scientific research, organization of international conferences and seminars, and the launch of joint educational programs.

These international partnerships play an important role in increasing the international reputation of Gulistan State University, introducing European experience into the educational process, and elevating the quality of higher education to a new level. Such initiatives fully align with the university’s strategic development goals.
