On March 30, a large-scale environmental event was organized in our country on the occasion of the International Day of Zero Waste. The event was held based on the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-171 dated May 31, 2023.

The event was attended by Associate Professors A. Kenjayev and I. Aripov from the Department of Ecology and Geography, as well as eco-active youth. During the event, awareness activities were conducted on waste reduction and environmental protection.

Additionally, a “Plogging” акция — a waste collection competition — was organized, in which young people actively participated.
