Based on Resolution No. 304 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 22, 2017, “On Measures to Further Improve the Postgraduate Education System,” and Order No. 337 of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation dated August 11, 2026, “On Approval of Admission Quotas for 2027 for Training as Intern-Researchers, in Basic Doctoral Studies and Doctoral Studies at the Expense of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” Gulistan State University announces admission to Doctoral Studies (DSc) and Basic Doctoral Studies (PhD)!

Applicants are required to upload the following documents through the unified electronic system daraja.ilmiy.uz from September 15 to October 15, 2026:

For Doctoral Studies (DSc):

• application;
• brief biographical information (CV);
• copy of a diploma confirming the degree of Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), or an equivalent scientific degree recognized in foreign countries;
• a scientific report on the research topic and a detailed draft plan of the doctoral dissertation prepared for obtaining the Doctor of Science (DSc) degree;
• list of published scientific works and their copies (including links);
• copy of the employment record book (for employed applicants) and information on the higher education diploma.

For Basic Doctoral Studies (PhD):

• application;
• brief biographical information (CV);
• information on bachelor’s and master’s diplomas from a higher education institution;
• list of published scientific works and their copies (including links);
• recipients of the State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan must submit a copy of the relevant document;
