Today, the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “The Convergence of Mathematics, Physics and Artificial Intelligence: Innovations and New Paradigms” began its work at Gulistan State University.

The opening ceremony of the conference was held at the University Palace of Culture. It brought together local and international scientists, professors and teachers, researchers, doctoral students, master’s students, and talented young people.

At the plenary session of the conference, Dilmurod Eshmurodov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of Gulistan State University, delivered a speech and emphasized the importance of integrating modern scientific fields such as mathematics, physics, and artificial intelligence for the development of science and education. He also highlighted the need to strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation, put scientific results into practice, and develop new scientific approaches.

Representatives from the Philippines, India, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan participated in the plenary session with scientific presentations. In particular, Philippine scientist Borromeo Jad Andrew Acabado presented mathematical research on numerical series, while Indian representative Dr. Danish Ather spoke about the role of artificial intelligence in education and research. Uzbek scientists presented reports on pressing issues related to water problems, mathematical modeling, and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into higher education.

During the two-day international conference, scientific discussions will be held in such areas as applied mathematics and modern mathematical modeling, contemporary problems of physics, artificial intelligence and digital technologies, digital transformation in education and STEAM, cybersecurity, robotics, and green technologies.

The international conference continues its work in thematic sections.
