September 20, 2018 in Gulistan state University held a meeting with the Professor-teachers and students on the theme “Corruption-a threat to national security.”
This meeting was attended by the rector of the University M. Hadjiev, vice-rector on spiritual and educational affairs R. Mahmudov, employee of SGB Syrdarya region K. Eshmatov, field investigator the Syrdarya police Department captain J. Hujamkulov, an investigator special cases Department on struggle against corruption of the Prosecutor's office of Syrdarya region A. Urazbayev, inspector for the prevention of the police Department of the city of Gulistan A.Usmanov, vice-rectors, deans of faculties, heads of departments, 235 professors-teachers and 250 students.
Speakers in their speeches noted that today corruption creates threats to the progress of society, national security of the state and this threat can be seen in all countries and continents, including Uzbekistan. On this, it was noted that the state takes seriously the fight against corruption and to strengthen these works adopted a number of legal documents. It was stated that today's meeting is also one of the key tasks in the fight against corruption.
