On May 5, 2022, Gulistan State University in cooperation with Gulistan city administration and Gulistan city prosecutor's office held a legal-preventive event on "Corruption - the decline of the future."

The event was hosted by the rector of the university MT Khodjiev. At the event, the mayor of Gulistan TT Dadabayev said that a large-scale work is being carried out in our country to combat corruption, and the university's teaching staff should play a key role in this work as a spiritual propagandist.

In turn, the Prosecutor of Gulistan Sh.E.Artikbayev, speaking on this issue, noted that in recent years in our country there is a fierce fight against corruption, which is declining year by year, but still occurs. He spoke in detail about the work being done in the framework of his initiatives to transform higher education into a corruption-free sector.

An appropriate decision was made on the issue on the agenda.
