New Horizons for Graduates: The “Step into the Future” Program Opens Doors of Opportunity for Youth

On May 23, 2025, an important event took place at the Palace of Culture of Guliston State University with the participation of graduates from higher education institutions of the Syrdarya region. The event was organized within the framework of the “Step into the Future” program, in accordance with Presidential Decree No. PQ-61 dated February 14, 2025, aiming to create new opportunities for youth and ensure their successful entry into the labor market.

The main goal of the program is not only to provide employment for graduates but also to encourage the realization of their innovative ideas and initiatives. The program is implemented with the support of O‘zmilliybank JSC, and higher education institutions across the country are full participants.

During the event, young people received detailed information about:

shaping business ideas and developing them into projects;
opportunities for cooperation with public and private sectors;
grants to support start-up projects;
financial assistance for internships and practical training;
preferential loans and other convenient opportunities.

The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Guliston State University, F. Sharipov. Attendees included B. Kholmirov, Head of Department at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, E. Ikromov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Central Bank on Youth Affairs, and A. Ilhomov, Curator of the Credit Department at the “Step into the Future” Center, who provided detailed answers to students’ questions.

Speakers highlighted that the “Step into the Future” program creates the necessary conditions to support youth business ideas, provide financial backing, and enable them to start entrepreneurial activities.

During the open and sincere dialogue, students received reliable and precise information on the issues of interest. At the conclusion, it was emphasized that comprehensive support for youth, strengthening their knowledge and skills, and assisting them in realizing their goals and dreams is a priority of state policy.
