A total of 60 professors and teachers work in the Faculty of Digital Economy and Innovation, 706 professors and teachers of our faculty in the fields of "Management", "Economics" and "Accounting and Audit", Business Management, Finance and Financial Technologies ( including 210 girls and boys) have been teaching students. There are 9 candidates of science and 1 doctor of science among the professors of the faculty. The average age of professors is 38, the scientific potential of the institute is 43%. Currently, research is being conducted based on the main scientific topics of the institute's departments. "Business Club" was established in the institute in cooperation with the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the primary organization of Gulistan State University. 08.00.01 - basic doctoral studies in the specialty "Economic theory" are operating at the faculty. Today, Mahmudova Gulrukh, a teacher of the "Economics" department, studied at Kazan Federal State University in a targeted doctoral program and received the degree of candidate of economic sciences.

Cooperation in the field of scientific research and education

The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5847 dated 08.10.2019 "On approval of the concept of development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030" provides for the development of public-private partnerships in the field of higher education, state and to increase the level of higher education coverage from 50 percent based on the organization of activities of non-state higher education institutions, to create a healthy competitive environment in the field; based on international experiences, introduction of advanced standards of higher education, including gradual transition from education focused on acquiring theoretical knowledge to an educational system focused on the formation of practical skills in educational programs; to raise the content of higher education to a new level in terms of quality, to establish a system of highly qualified personnel training that will make a worthy contribution to the sustainable development of the social sphere and economic sectors, and will find a place in the labor market; to improve the infrastructure and material and technical base of higher education institutions, including by attracting preferential funds from international financial institutions, to gradually transfer them to the self-financing system and ensure their financial stability; priority tasks such as establishing mutually beneficial cooperation of education with production enterprises and research institutes are defined.
In the consistent implementation of the "University-3.0" concept, it is important to establish close cooperation relations with enterprises-organizations of various industries and sectors, and to establish branches of departments in enterprises-organizations. Based on this, a Memorandum was signed between the Gulistan State University and the Syrdarya regional administration of the Anti-Monopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Gulistan State University and the Syrdarya regional administration of the State Asset Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
