THE ACCEPTION TO BACHELOR DEGREE
Admission of students to bachelor's degrees in higher educational institutions is carried out in accordance with the "Regulations on the procedure for admission of students to the bachelor's degree in higher educational institutions", issued by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 18, 2010 ¹ 118
This Provision establishes the procedure for admission of students to the bachelor's degree programs of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education" and "National Program of Personnel Training".
This Statute does not apply to military education institutions.
Acceptance of higher education institutions is carried out in accordance with the quotas accepted on the basis of state grants and payment-contract approved by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan or the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Admission of students to higher educational institutions is carried out by rating system of points scored according to the results of tests conducted by the State commission on admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - the State commission).
Admission to higher education institutions is based on equality of rights for all (both grants and contractual), on the basis of single acceptance rules and on the basis of single choice, ensuring the right of first-degree applicants to receive state grants who have the highest scores on test scores. All other applicants are eligible to apply for a contract-based quota based on a rating.
The competition is conducted separately in each of the higher education institutions according to the directions of education, languages and forms of education.
Testing tests, as well as the order of their carrying out, are carried out by the State Testing Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional and Tashkent city khokimiyats and rectors of higher education institutions provide the necessary conditions for conducting field testing.
The tests are conducted in three languages - Uzbek, Russian and Karakalpak languages in higher education institutions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
It is established by the ministries and agencies prior to the adoption of documents within the framework of acceptance quotas approved by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan or by the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and approved by the State Commission.
Applicants will pass the test at a higher education institution in their language of instruction. Applicants applying to Uzbek groups have the right to submit their own test questions in the Uzbek language in the Latin or Cyrillic alphabet.
The list of educational directions of the higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the range of subjects relevant to the test are developed by the State Testing Center and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and approved by the State Commission.
Applicants will be tested in one of the English, German, French languages as foreign languages. Applicants may take foreign language tests (English, German, French) regardless of their foreign language.
If a foreign language is taught other than English, German or French, at a general secondary, secondary special, vocational education institution, a foreign language exam is a multi-point exam instead of a test.
Along with test trials in some areas of higher education, additional vocational (creative) exams are held. The list of areas for professional (creative) examinations is developed by the State Testing Center and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and approved by the State Commission.
The trainings in some areas of education in Tajik, Kazakh, Turkmen, and Kyrgyz are carried out on a multidisciplinary (creative) exams and tests. The list of areas for professional (creative) examinations is developed by the State Testing Center and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and approved by the State Commission.
Applicants applying for these courses of study are accepted by applicants who have graduated from secondary school or graduating from the academic lyceum (professional college) diploma in generalized secondary education. The total of the results of professional (creative) exams, multi-score examinations and test results approved by the State Commission is approved by the rector of the higher educational institution personally.
Entrants of general secondary, secondary special and vocational education who have studied Spanish, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, Urdu, Chinese, Korean, Uighur (without English, German and French) foreign language and for other subjects they pass the test.
