Modern Technologies for Water and Soil Conservation and Combating Desertification: International Online Meeting
On April 20, 2026, an online meeting was held on the topic “Water and soil conservation, desertification control, and the application of efficient technologies.”
During the meeting:
• About research and company: Wang Fuzhou stated that he represents ZhengSai Restoration, a research and consulting company specializing in water and soil conservation and desertification control.
• Technologies: ZhengSai offers technologies that save 50–70% more water compared to traditional drip irrigation. These technologies can transform saline lands and deserts into fertile fields, pastures, and forests.
• International recognition: The technology has been recognized by experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
• Importance: It was emphasized that these technologies are especially crucial for regions facing drought and water scarcity.
• Brief biography of Wang Fuzhou: A highly qualified expert in water and soil safety and desertification control, with international scientific publications and experience in solving environmental issues.
• Participants: The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Gulistan State University Dilmurod Eshmurodov, Head of the International Cooperation Department Dilafruz Allanazarova, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Alisher Musulmonkulov, Heads of Departments — Nodira Ablakulova (Biology), Laziza Botirova (Medicinal Plants and Botany), Lola Qarsgiboyeva (Ecology), as well as specialists from various regional universities and institutes.
Key conclusion: the implementation of modern technologies in water and soil conservation is crucial, especially in combating desertification and drought. At the end of the meeting, agreements were reached on introducing these technologies locally and establishing scientific cooperation.
