🌴 On November 2 of this year, at the meeting of video selectors chaired by the head of our state, Sh. Mirziyoyev, it was decided to implement the national project "Green Space", within the framework of this project, 200 million per year. the task of planting trees and shrubs was set.

🌿 Gulsiton State University team plans to plant more than 13,000 saplings in October-November 2022 in the university territory during the "Dolzarb 40-day" planting season, of which 12,000 ornamental and 1,000 fruit trees. In order to ensure the implementation of this national project, contracts were concluded for the supply of 6,000 pieces of poplar and 1,000 pieces of quince from the Fergana region, and 1,000 pieces of sada tree seedlings from the Jizzakh region.

🌳 On November 10, 2022, an action was held at Gulistan State University dedicated to the "Dolzarb 40 days" planting activities of the "Green Space" national project. Rector of the university Mukhsin Khodzhiyev, deputy governor of Syrdarya region Shavkat Zayniddinov took part in this action and gave a speech.

After that, university rector Mukhsin Khodzhiyev and deputy governor of Syrdarya region Shavkat Zaniddinov started planting activities. Vice-rectors Fakhriddin Niyazov, Mamatkul Bairbekov, Jakhongir Karshibayev and Zakirjon Zikriyayev planted the saplings in turn, after which the entire university team started planting saplings in their respective areas. On the same day, the representatives of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Syrdarya region, who were invited to the event, also took part in this action. This campaign was connected to a special holiday event.

🍃In the nationwide project, university professors, employees and students are planting poplar, Sada, quince saplings, as well as poplar and juniper cuttings in the territories of the university in the cities of Gulistan and Yangiyer, as well as in the districts of Boyovut, Aqoltin and Gulistan.
