On February 27, 2023, a preventive event aimed at preventing crime and law violations was held with the students of Gulistan State University. Rustam Bozorov, the head of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Fakhriddin Niyazov, the 1st vice-rector for work with youth and spiritual and educational issues of the university, Oybek Inamov, advisor to the rector, Captain Ahmadjon Usmanov, preventive inspector, students young people were given a lecture on maintaining public order, not being influenced by foreign ideas, fighting corruption, and the harmful effects of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
At the event, Rustam Bozorov studied the work being carried out at the university, and listened to the report of prevention inspector Ahmadjon Usmanov on the work being carried out in the field. At the end of the event, an open dialogue was held with the students.
