On October 21, 2023, a spiritual and educational and artistic event was held in the palace of culture of Gulistan State University, dedicated to the day “October 21-Uzbek language holiday”. The event was organized by the rector of the University professor M.Khodzhiev opened with an introduction. Also at the event, associate professor of the Department of Uzbek linguistics, candidate of philological Sciences J.Abdullayev made a speech on the topic” progress of the Uzbek language and its status as a state." They were also awarded holiday gifts to a group of students-young people who have achieved success during their activities.

In the artistic part of the event, songs and poems were performed by creative students of the University, and performances and national dances were performed.
