Festive events dedicated to the national holiday of “Navruz” have begun at Gulistan State University.

The opening ceremony of the celebrations took place in the university's "Spirituality and Enlightenment Square." The event was opened with a congratulatory speech by the university's rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor M. Khodjiyev. In his speech, he provided detailed information about the history of Navruz, a holiday symbolizing renewal and revival, and its significance among the national values of our people.

Following this, the university's First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, K. Kudratov, launched competitions in sports and traditional games among students as part of the “Rector’s Cup.”

In honor of the holiday, creative students from the Faculty of Arts organized an art exhibition titled "Navruz – A Symbol of Beauty."
