On August 28–29, the traditional “Melon Festival” is being held in Gulistan, serving as a platform to widely promote the tourism potential of our country. This festival aims to showcase the agricultural products of the Syrdarya region, particularly its famous melons and other gourds.

As part of the event, the Gulistan State University team is actively participating with its own pavilion. Visitors are being presented with various types of melons as well as unique dishes and beverages prepared from melon and gourd products.

Foreign and local tourists, guests from different regions of the republic, as well as media representatives, are showing great interest in the university’s pavilion. In particular, the dishes made from melon products leave a lasting impression on the visitors.

The “Melon Festival” is a celebration of our national values, tourism potential, and the generous gifts of Syrdarya’s fertile soil!
