On April 11, 2026, a spiritual and educational event dedicated to “International Bird Day” was held at a high level at the Department of Biology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Gulistan State University.

The main goal of the event was to foster love and care for birds among young people. During the event, students delivered meaningful presentations on the importance of birds in maintaining biodiversity and the necessity of their protection. The topic was further explored through student-prepared presentations, performances, and quizzes.

Participants actively took part and demonstrated their knowledge and skills. At the end of the event, students were awarded in the nominations “Best Wall Newspaper,” “Best Exhibition,” and “Best Presentation.”

This event plays an important role in developing an environmentally responsible attitude among youth and enhancing ecological awareness and culture.
