On September 2, the new 2025/2026 academic year began in all general education schools of our country. At General Secondary School No.16 in Gulistan city, the official opening ceremony of the new academic year was held under the slogan “For the Homeland, for the Nation, for the People!”, featuring the “First Bell” event and “Lessons of Independence.” During the event, first-grade pupils received the “President’s Gift,” and the first school bell rang.

The Rector of Gulistan State University, M. Khodjiyev, participated in the event, delivered a festive speech, and within the framework of the “Lesson of Independence,” shared information with students about the achievements of our beloved country over 34 years, as well as the ongoing reforms in the education system aimed at building the Third Renaissance.
