On September 8, the Rector of Gulistan State University, M. Khodjiyev, visited the “Memory of the Victims of Repression” museum under the university.

During the visit, the rector held an open dialogue with the museum’s researchers and historians, becoming closely acquainted with the major renovation works carried out, the arrangement of exhibits, and the material and technical base of the museum.

He especially emphasized the importance of this museum in the educational process and gave instructions to conduct students’ practical classes precisely in this historical environment.

The museum, renovated after major reconstruction, was reopened on the eve of the new academic year.
