Starting today, sports competitions within the framework of the “Besh Tashabbus Olympiad” have begun at Gulistan State University. This Olympiad is organized on the instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. Its main goal is to help students spend their free time meaningfully, promote a healthy lifestyle, and unleash the talents of young people.

From September 20 to 30, interfaculty teams will compete in mini-football, volleyball, table tennis, athletics, and streetball. The winners of the faculty-level stages will advance to the next rounds and compete for the championship not only at the university level but also at the national level.

Speakers at the opening ceremony described this sports Olympiad as “a field of unity, friendship, and energy” for the youth and wished all participants the best of luck.

We are confident that this Olympiad will bring our students not only victories and achievements but also strengthen team spirit and friendship ties.
