Regional Center for Retraining and Retraining of Public Education Staff at Gulistan State University

The regional center for retraining and advanced training of public education personnel at the Gulistan State University (first called the institute) was founded on 25 April 1964 in Gulistan.

I.Kurbanov was the head of the regional center. During this period the leading experts in the field of knowledge were hired. In the following years, the Institute (1964-1970) H.Donierov, R.Zikrillaev (1971-1972), candidate of historical sciences, associate professor T.Javlonov (1974-1983) F.Nurmuhammedov (1983-1983) B.Koraboev, (1984-1986) B.Ortiqbaev, O. Akumbetova, (1993-2001) headed by E. Kuybishev. Candidate of Philology H.Yodgorov in 2001-2003, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences K.Eshquvatov from 2003 to 2004, doctor of biological sciences, professor A. Pazilov, from 2016 to 2018 P. Kholmatovs were the leaders.

From March 2018 the head of Syrdarya Regional Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Teachers of Public Education, Ph.D., Associate Professor Turdimetov Shakhobiddin Mukhitdinovich.

Scientific potential

Currently, there are 42 professor-teachers in the scientific center. 40 of them are in the main, 2 are double-headed. The main staff consists of 2 doctors of sciences, professors, 12 candidates of sciences, associate professors and 26 of them are senior teachers and teachers who do not have a degree or academic degree.
