In accordance with the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted in 2025, significant organizational changes were implemented in the system of economic courts starting from January 1, 2026. Based on this decree, the activities of economic courts were reviewed, and through their consolidation, a more efficient and modern system of judicial case management was introduced.

The consolidation of economic courts is primarily aimed at establishing a unified judicial practice in the consideration of economic disputes, ensuring specialization and a systematic approach in court proceedings. The new structure enables a rational distribution of caseload among courts, elimination of unnecessary organizational barriers, and reduction of case review periods.

Moreover, these reforms have created a number of conveniences for business entities. In particular, the simplification of court application procedures, the extensive use of electronic services, and the introduction of remote procedural actions help entrepreneurs save time and reduce additional expenses.

The impartial, high-quality, and timely consideration of cases in economic courts, as well as the adoption of lawful and well-reasoned judicial decisions, positively impact the stable development of the business environment. In conclusion, the consolidation of economic courts as of January 1, 2026, represents an important reform aimed at modernizing the judicial system, increasing the effectiveness of justice, and ensuring reliable protection of the rights and legitimate interests of business entities. The Gulistan Interdistrict Economic Court is also consistently implementing the tasks defined in the decree and protecting the interests of citizens and entrepreneurs.
