The concert was held at the University on January 14 under the slogan "Youth is the guardian of the Motherland", dedicated to the Day of Motherland Defenders.

On January 12, 2018 in the hall of the Gulistan State University was held a concert with the slogan "The guard of youth vanad" with the administration of the Gulistan State University, the Youth Union of the Youth Union of the Gulistan State University, the Women's Committee of the University, Gulistan City Children's Village.

The rector of the Gulistan State University M. Khodjiev opened the event with words of gratitude to all those who regarded the courageous and noble men of our Homeland, as well as courageous, strong and courageous, peace and tranquility of the Homeland, on January 14th with the Day of Motherland Defenders congratulated.
The winners were awarded diplomas and prizes by the administration of the University on the basis of the Monthly Contest and Contests held on the occasion of the Day of Motherland Defenders.

During the event, the festival program, prepared by the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of Physical Culture, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the 'Bojalar' team of the University, was demonstrated.

More than 500 students participated in the event. The event was held in festive spirit and joyful atmosphere.
