On March 31 and April 1, 2022, Gulistan State University will host a volleyball tournament (Volleyball (Boys and Girls)) to select talented athletes for worthy participation in the Universiade-2022. The competition was held on The competition was attended by teams from all faculties of the university.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Gulistan State University Vice Rector for Youth Affairs F. Niyazov wished success to all participants. Then the deputy chairman of the sports club "GulDU" Sh. Norkulov spoke and introduced the participants to the rules and conditions of the competition.

The following teams took part in the competition:

6. Art Team
7. Socio-economic community
8. Sports activities team

The competition was held in a "mixed system". The teams competed in two groups. The first and second place teams in their group competed in the semi-finals, and the semi-final winners competed in the final.
