On August 30, 2023, the first meeting of the Gulsiton State University Council for the new 2023/2024 academic year was held in an extended manner. This event was opened and conducted by the Rector of the University, Chairman of the Council M. Khodzhiyev.

 In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Council sincerely congratulated the team on the 32nd anniversary of our greatest and dearest holiday - Independence.

    After that, the Council made a report on the first issue on the agenda: preparation for the new academic year. Also, detailed information on administrative reforms and structural changes in the university was provided.

    In his speech, the rector of the university gave detailed information on the current issues regarding the further improvement of the educational, methodological, scientific-research and spiritual-educational and material-technical base in the 2023/2024 academic year.

 Vice-rectors, heads of departments and experienced professors and teachers also spoke about the issues on the agenda and expressed their opinions about the plans and proposals from the beginning of the year.

 On the eve of the new academic year, ambitious goals were set and instructions were given for the development of a strategic plan for their implementation.
