On February 11, 2025, a delegation visited Gulistan State University, consisting of Velosh Janos, Director of Strategy for Projects in Uzbekistan at “Green Farm FE LLC,” a company affiliated with Hungary’s “OTB Bank Group,” HR Manager for Staff Selection Mesleni Ferenc, and Head of Trade Projects in Uzbekistan Fazakal Zoltan.

The guests were welcomed by the university's rector, M. Khodjiyev. During the negotiations, M. Khodjiyev provided detailed information about the history of the university, its current development, and future prospects. In turn, the Hungarian partners shared details about the direction and strategy of their project, noting that they have already started working on establishing poultry farms and meat production enterprises in the Syrdarya region with Hungarian investments. They proposed involving local specialists in these enterprises and establishing collaboration with Gulistan State University to utilize its scientific potential in workforce training.

At the end of the visit, the parties discussed signing a Memorandum of Cooperation, which aims to establish bilateral partnerships and implement promising projects in the future. It was noted that this cooperation is mutually beneficial for both sides.
