An important international meeting with a Chinese delegation was held at Guliston davlat universiteti

On May 7, 2026, Guliston davlat universiteti welcomed a delegation consisting of representatives from prestigious higher education institutions and international educational organizations of the People’s Republic of China. The delegation was received by the university rector, M. Khodjiyev, and official negotiations were held between the parties.

Representatives of Ningxia Vocational and Technical University and Tang International Education Group participated in the meeting. The delegation included Zhou Zhen, Secretary of the University Party Committee; Shen Ziwen, Director of the International Cooperation and Employment Department; Ma Ning, Director of the Development Planning Department; Zhang Caifen, Vice Dean of the School of Industrial Engineering; Cui Hai, Vice Dean of the School of Life Sciences and Technology; as well as heads and specialists of international educational organizations.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed expanding the capabilities of the Chinese Language Center operating at Gulistan State University, establishing faculty and student exchange programs, launching joint educational programs, and developing scientific research and innovation activities.

The participants also exchanged views on expanding international cooperation within the framework of the “Overseas Engineering Technology Institute” project, developing joint curricula, implementing international standards, and carrying out перспективе engineering and technology projects.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Gulistan State University and the Chinese partner organizations. According to the agreements reached, university faculty members and students are expected to participate in professional development and internship programs in China in September 2026.

During the visit, the guests were provided with detailed information about the university’s scientific centers, innovative projects, and modern educational infrastructure. The delegation highly appreciated the reforms being implemented at the university and its achievements in international cooperation.
