May 30, 2018, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences organised a spiritual and educational event dedicated to International Chemists Day. The celebration commenced with the anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meeting was opened by Rector Mahmudov who was Pro-rector on spirituality and educational affairs of the Gulistan State University and gave brief information about the important role of chemistry in world and society, contribution to the development of the economy, the great ancestors contributing to the development of chemistry and the improvement of chemical industry in Uzbekistan.
After that the students of "Chemistry" department indicated their artistic performances dedicated to the evening. During the night, students displayed models of poetry, dance, songs, scenes and practical experiences in chemistry. .
The event was attended by pro-rector on spiritual and educational work R.Mahmudov, dean of faculty A.Yuldashev, head of the department O. Abdurakhmonova, professors,teachers and 320 students.
