Department history:

The Department of National Ideology, Foundations of Spirituality and Legal Education was created in the 1966-1967 academic year at the Faculty of Philology under the name of the Department of Social Sciences. In the 1972-1973 academic year, the Department of Social Sciences was transformed into the Department of Philosophy and Scientific Communism. When the Department of Scientific Communism became independent in 1985, the Department of Philosophy became a separate department uniting teachers of scientific atheism, ethics and aesthetics. Over the years, the department was headed by S. Dzhiyankhodzhaev, A. Abulkasimov. 1986-1991 Associate Professor B. Bobokhonov, in 1991-1994, 2001-2004, in 2007-2009, Associate Professor O. Begimkulov, in 1994-1996, In 2004-2007. Associate Professor R. Makhmudov, in 1997 - 1998, Associate Professor A. Abdurasulov, in 1999-2000. It was headed by Associate Professor Sh. Yusupov. Since 2009, the head of the department has been the candidate of philosophical sciences, associate professor S. Ismailov. In 2005, the department was renamed into "Idea of National Independence and Philosophy", in 2009 the department was renamed into "National Idea and Philosophy", in 2013 - into "National Idea, Foundations of Spirituality and Legal Education". Until the age of 16, associate professor R. Makhmudov, in 2016-2017, associate professor S. Ismoilov, since 2018 Sh.Kenzhaev has been working as the head of the department.

Today, the department has a bachelor's degree in the specialties "5111600-National idea, the basics of spirituality and legal education", "Social work (with family and children)" and qualified specialists in the direction "Methods of teaching social and humanitarian sciences (fundamentals of spirituality)".

Scientific activity of the department:

Professors and teachers of the department: In 1974 Sh. Yusupov on "The impact of scientific and technological progress on the spiritual image of collective farmers", in 1980 Begimkulov O. "The role of scientific and technological development in changing the social system of society (the example of Uzbekistan)" In 1984, Bobokhonov was nominated for the title "National culture and interethnic relations", in 1991 R. Makhmudov was nominated for the title "Moral views of Hussein Voiz Kashifi", in 2008 S. Ismailov was nominated for the title "The role of the Naqshbandi sect in the development of mysticism" defended dissertations.

Videoconferences were held on the theme "National Idea" with the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute, Bukhara State University, the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry and dozens of other educational institutions.

Today, the staff of the department, on the basis of modern information technologies, have developed educational and methodological materials in more than 60 disciplines. Professor of the department R. Makhmudov handed over the textbooks "Oratory and the culture of speech", "Scientific heritage of Central Asian scientists", senior teacher Kh. Usmanova "Fundamentals of Islam and spirituality" Senior teacher Sh. Kenzhaev "Fundamentals of the formation of spirituality of youth", "Improvement of spiritual and educational work in the moral education of children in preschool education "," Spiritual and educational work in the moral education of youth "efficiency", B. Gafurov's monograph "Socio-philosophical views of Mirzo Bobur" was published. The staff of the department has published three collections of scientific articles "The World of Human Thinking". To date, the department has published over 350 scientific articles. In particular, Professor R. Makhmudov, Associate Professor S. Ismoilov, Senior Lecturer Sh.Kenyaev, teachers N. Saydkulov, D. Kholnazarova, O. Yusufaliev, G. Ravshanova, A. Asatulloev, A. Baeshanov, S. Karimova H. published more than 20 articles in international journals. A number of his brochures served as a guide for students and teachers of universities, professional colleges, lyceums, schools.

The staff of the department regularly participate in the annual scientific conference "Independence: Actual Problems of Philosophy", which is traditionally held annually by the Institute of Philosophy and Law named after IM Muminov of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. Most of the department staff are participants in international conferences in Salzburg, Moscow, Rostov, Bishkek, Almaty, Khojand, Osh, Jettisay, Sulukta, the 1000th anniversary of the Mamun Academy organized by UNESCO, the epic "Alpomish". They took part in conferences dedicated to the 1000th anniversary, 670th anniversary of the birth of Amir Temur.

The department employs "Young Spiritual Propagandist" (leader - N. Tursinkulov), "Fikr" (leader - A. Baeshanov), "Hikmat" (leader - Y. Karimov), "Period and Youth" (leader - T. Abdullaev) small schools.

Scientific cooperation and information resource base of the department:

The department "National Idea, Foundations of Spirituality and Legal Education" closely cooperates with the Institute of Philosophy and Law named after IM Muminov of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the National University of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Oriental Studies, organizes joint scientific conferences and seminars. In addition, Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Tashkent Economic University, Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, Tashkent Islamic University, Andijan, Fergana, Urgench, Bukhara, Samarkand universities, Kokand, Jizzakh, Navoi, Chirchik state pedagogical institutes, Uzbekistan He established. close ties with the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican Council for Spirituality and Education and the National Scientific and Practical Center of Ideas and Ideology.
