On May 14, 2026, Guliston State University organized a “Leader and Youth Meeting” with the university rector M. Khodjiyev as part of the “Thursday — Youth Day!” initiative. Young scholars — including basic doctoral students, doctoral candidates, and independent researchers — actively participated in the open dialogue.

During the meeting, participants extensively discussed the scientific and innovative activities of young researchers, their ongoing research projects, the current status of PhD and DSc dissertations, as well as publication and scientific output indicators. Special attention was given to increasing the effectiveness of scientific activities, expanding the number of publications in international scientific databases, and supporting innovative projects.

Rector M. Khodjiyev held individual conversations with each young researcher, closely reviewing their proposals, initiatives, existing challenges, and needs. Important recommendations were provided on successfully and efficiently completing scientific research, effectively applying modern scientific approaches, and further developing scientific potential.
